Jovan Phillips

Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

Jovan Phillips is a passionate and creative team member whose global upbringing and diverse experiences deeply shape her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a military brat, Jovan spent her formative years living in places like Pennsylvania, Florida, Italy, London, and Japan. She returned to the United States to pursue her education at California State University, Fresno, where she earned her degree—well before many of her colleagues even began their academic journeys, as she likes to joke.

Originally drawn to juvenile forensic psychology, Jovan entered the world of ABA while looking for meaningful work with children during her undergraduate years. What started as a way to gain experience quickly turned into a true calling. Her natural empathy, creativity, and dedication to helping children grow and thrive have made her an invaluable part of every team she’s joined since.

Outside of work, Jovan channels her creative spirit into hands-on projects with her children. She designs and handcrafts elaborate book character parade costumes, builds complex marble runs and castles out of magnetic tiles, and finds joy in discovering new places to eat with her family. Her idea of fun almost always involves spending quality time with her sons and creating memorable experiences for them.

Jovan’s life has been full of adventure—from attending boarding school in London and graduating high school in Japan, to recently traveling to the Dominican Republic. Her multicultural background and life experiences give her a unique and valuable perspective that she brings to both her personal life and professional work.

Jovan’s warmth, worldliness, and enthusiasm for growth—both in herself and others—make her a standout member of our team.
